A ‘muster’ is a traditional musical gathering common in the fife and drum community.
The Fairfax Muster will feature a number of traditional and historical musical ensembles performing a wide variety of styles and instruments. There will be fifes and drum corps, brass bands, and maybe a few surprises! So far, our line-up includes:
- The George Mason University Army ROTC Color Guard (Fairfax, VA)
- The Patriots Fife and Drum Corps (Fairfax, VA)
- The 8th Green Machine Regiment Band (Fairfax, VA)
- The 28th Mass Co. B Fife and Drum Corps (Northern Virginia)
- The Fort Myer Fire Department Fife and Drum Corps (Arlington, VA)
- Colonial Williamsburg Fife and Drum Corps Alumni (Virginia)
- 1st PA Reserves Volunteer Company Field Music (Gettysburg, PA)
- Monocacy Field Music (Frederick, MD)
- Monumental City Fife and Drum Corps (Baltimore, MD)
