The Fairfax Ballet Company dancers are having a rare opportunity to learn and present an excerpt of “Airs” in an informal setting with special permission from the Paul Taylor Dance Foundation. Constance Dinapoli, former dancer with the PTDC and currently répétiteur with the Foundation has danced and staged “Airs” many times, but this is a first via both Zoom and in the studio. May 9th, they will perform 4 sections of the 25-minute dance. It has been a new learning and technical experience for all, and we are proud of the dancers for their growth and the company for their flexibility in adapting to new ways of working and presenting dance.
This two hour performance will also feature Act II of La Sylphide and other original works.
